Our Women’s breakfast is held once a term on a Saturday morning. This is a great opportunities to get to know other overs breakfast, guest speaker, vibrant worship and ministry.

Heart Spa – an investment in the ‘well-spring of life’

Throughout our lives, our hearts are affected by the world we live in and the experiences we have every day.  Like our skin they might need purifying, deep cleansing, feeding or a make-over!  The bible repeatedly mentions the heart and describes it as the ‘well spring of life’ (Proverbs 4: 23).  In this talk Liesel seeks to apply some of these biblical truths and her own personal experiences of a God who can make all things, including the heart, new!

Speaker Liesel Parkinson -

Liesel Parkinson is married to Rhett with 3 children aged between 14 and 8.  As well as being an Army wife, she currently heads up the ladies work in the British Armed Forces Christian Union and organizes a number of ladies conferences in England, Germany and Cyprus.  She is currently completing her studies as a Methodist Local Preacher and often takes services in the Army Church she and her husband attend. She is passionate about women’s issues and believes that the Christian faith offers the hope of wholeness and healing through Jesus, and is freely available.  She enjoys making muffins and having a cup of coffee with a friend.
