Join us for a fried breakfast and the challenge to think about how you can better glorify God in your life:

The Bible says, ‘you are not your own, for you were bought with a price.   So glorify God…’, yet so often we  don’t glorify God in our lives.   Many of us work tirelessly in our professional lives yet do very little at church, others of us see our retirement from work as an opportunity to lead an easy life rather than an opportunity to serve God more, others of us waste too much of our leisure time on our hobbies and interests or spend too much time worrying about the things of this world.

After studying Theology at Cambridge, David Horrocks took up a high flyer job in the civil service working for Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon, among a number of other challenging posts.   With a young family, he gave up this promising career to lead a church plant with no guarantee that he would be able to pay his bills.   David will be challenging us not to waste our lives.
