Speaker:

This is a service to help people in their grieving, we are holding a short traditional church service, remembering those whom people have lost.  This will be for anyone connected with the church and all  who live within the parish.  The names of those who have died will be read out, and  there will be a opportunity to light a candle in remembrance.  It will also be an opportunity for those on the “Bereavement Team” to introduce themselves by taking part in the service.  Please pray for this, and that people will respond positively to any prayers offered.

John - God's Grand Design

John started adult life as a partner in a fishing business and ended it as one of the most extraordinary authors of all time. He came to realize that the mysterious man he had followed for three years was none other than the key to human destiny and the future of the whole universe. John went on to write about God’s Grand Design in two remarkable books. The questions he tackles are just as relevant to us today: what about evil and suffering, how can we cope, what happens when we die, will our planet survive?
