Mission
As part of its ‘Up-In-Out’ Vision, St. Mary’s is committed to reaching out in mission and has set up a Missions Support Team to co-ordinate the church’s response to God’s call through the promotion of prayer, encouraging those who want to get involved and distributing the church’s mission tithe.
As well as supporting established missions the team wants to make more money available to help members of our own congregation have a personal experience in mission activities, whether it be participation in a university Christian Union event or joining an overseas mission team or organisation. Whatever is on your heart, the Mission support Team are ready to hear from you.
Current members of the team are:
Richard Langmead (Chair) Alan Murray, Lizzie Adams, Claire Stonier, Dawn Cuthbertson and Jean Trainer.
