About Us
Home > About Us > Prayer

Prayer is the lifeblood of the church. Alongside prayer in small groups and prayer triplets, there is Prayer @ 8.45 am in the chancel each Friday for an hour,  to which all are welcome and also a monthly Prayer Watch

'UNITE' -   evenings are held once a term midweek in the Church andprovides an opportunity to ‘go deeper’ with the Lord. This year there will a greater emphasis on teaching at 'UNITE', and we can all look forward to being challenged and stretched as we are led by Andy and David.  Above all, our desire is for 'UNITE'to become an exciting and unmissable time of praising, praying and learning togeher.

Prayer Chain
This ministry is so valuable and is for emergency needs that arise and require urgent prayer. Phone Sandra Cross or Mary Newman and they will speedily organisea group of people to pray - if you have a need or would like to be involved in this ministry please speak to either Mary Newman, Jenny Samways or Sandra Cross.

Prayer Ministry
We
offer our total dependency on God and a willingness to give time to sit and listen without judgment as we seek God’s wholeness and healing with each person.

You  will be assured of a  warm welcome  whenever  you come forward for prayer. Most of the team have themselves received ministry and are in the process of being healed so  understanding runs deep among team members.

Prayer Ministry is available at the end of each service in the chancel after Those ministering are trained and authorised by the Church leadership.

It is exciting to see how God moves heals and restore us as we seek Him and His ways for our lives.

 Prayer Soaking Ministry

What is Soaking?
Soaking is an opportunity to spend quality time with our heavenly Father and allowing Him to come and minister deep into our hearts. Unlike traditional prayer ministry where someone might pray with a person for a specific need, soaking simply makes space for heart to heart ministry between individuals and the Lord.

What happens?
While intimate worship music plays we quieten our hearts and allow God to speak to us. You might want to bring a small cushion to place under your head and a journal to record what God puts on your heart. One or two leaders will cover the meeting to make sure it is a safe place for people to receive from the Lord.

Why would I want to receive this ministry?
Whether we need spiritual refreshing, fresh vision, direction, healing, unburdening or just deeper intimacy with the Lord soaking can help. These sessions are all about being cleansed, prepared and    anointed, just as Queen Esther was before her meeting with the King. It is about us coming before the Father just as we  are, just being ourselves in His loving arms.
